Recording your Sightings

Recording of your wildlife spots is an extremely important not least for the assessment of planning applications.  All developments are required to perform a wildlife survey of the development sites and an initial step in this process is to perform a desktop survey though the local wildlife data sets which in our case is RODIS or record.  In fact if there are appeals against refusal this is the only data set that would be accessed to ascertain the wildlife to be effected by the development.

If you see any wildlife on your walks or in your garden please log it on to the RECOD site using the link: RECORD
